Balloon Toss and Pop

There are 15 balloons on my bed. I'm going to pop them all by tossing them in the air and popping them with this safety pin. I open up the safety pin, and then tease the first balloon. The thought of it exploding in the air like confetti and raining down in several pieces all over the place makes my heart race. I toss the first balloon in the air, tapping it with my fingertips to bop it higher into the air.
I swat at the balloon, just enough to send it bouncing higher and higher, always coming right back down into my hand. Until......I tease the balloon just enough and then aim the pin right in. POW! BOOM! POP! Each balloon succumbs to the safety pin. Even the balloons that try to run away, all of them get popped, exploded like forgotten bits of scrap.
All 15 balloons are teased, tossed, and then popped without mercy. One balloon already has a hole in it, but is only leaking air slowly instead of exploding. I take no mercy and jab the safety pin right in, exploding it like all the others. Each balloon is popped in rapid succession until the bed is left empty. I laugh and catch my breath, but the balloons were no match for me at all.
